League Of The South Statement Of Support For Arizona

From The League of the South:

LEAGUE OF THE SOUTH STATEMENT

7 July 2010

The League of the South, the premier Southern nationalist organization, supports the sovereign State of Arizona in its on-going struggle against the Obama regime to protect the lives, liberty, and property of its citizens against illegal immigration.

We believe that the lawsuit filed by the Obama regime, U.S. v. Arizona, has no basis in law or fact. Rather, it is an attempt to deny the sovereign State of Arizona the fundamental right to defend itself against an illegal invasion. This invasion, in fact, has been perpertrated with the aid of the central government in Washington, DC, while under control of both Democrats and Republicans.

The citizens of Arizona cannot and should not be expected to stand idle while their State is reduced to an ungovernable war zone. Man's most basic, fundamental right is the right of self-protection. If the Obama regime and the federal courts succeed in blocking the current Arizona State law against illegal immigration, then that action can be seen as nothing less than a declaration of war on one of the fifty sovereign States of these United States. Moreover, the U.S. government has made it clear that it supports a foreign power--Mexico--against one of the States united. And because the U.S. Constitution clearly establishes the States as the masters and the federal or general government in DC as the servant, the latter's support of the interests of Mexico over those of Arizona constitutes treason against a sovereign State, and by implication, against the other forty-nine States as well.

Should federal power be used or threatened in this case to coerce the citizens of the sovereign State of Arizona, the League of the South calls upon all patriotic Southerners (and other Americans of good will) to come to their aid in such a manner consistent with our history as a free and liberty-loving people.
