The Atlantic: A Clarification
Andrew Sullivan points out something about the War Powers Act said by President Obama while on the campaign trail in 2008:
“The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.“
Tee-hee. There goes another campaign promise.
